As my homepage says, I'm just another privileged entity studying our cosmic history, when billions of animals are starving, lacking place to live, lacking place to think. I find writing about myself to be both luxurious and humorous. Whom should I write for? For the simple being who, in the name of justice, forms hierarchy, divines races, wages war, and then claims to be the most intellectual being on this planet?
Whatever life throws at me, I try to be optimistic as much as I can. Right actions for the future are the best apologies for wrong ones in the past. If not, who will remember me? Who will carry me, myself, to the next generation? When a person dies, he disappears along with his past, current lifestyle, and his future. But not their ideas, nor their memories.
From my point of view, observational astronomy is maybe the only discipline that has not led to the creation of a world filled with war, injustice, and tragedy.
I am a senior year Physics undergraduate at Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB) with a minor in Astronomy & Astrophysics. Initially, I started learning astronomy all by myself. As my interest grew, I started taking part in Astronomy Olympiads, and it has had a significant impact on me ever since high school.
Currently, I am involved in "Detection of Cold Fronts in X-ray Images of the Perseus Galaxy Cluster" using Chandra Interactive Analysis of Observations (CIAO) as part of the "Merit Internship in Data-intensive Astronomy (MerIDiAn)" under the supervision of Bangladesh's only professional astronomer, Dr. Khan Muhammad Bin Asad. I am also involved in developing a mathematical framework for the interface—displaying exoplanets' skies as a part of the 2024 NASA Space App Challenge.
My research interests are:
Computational Astrophysics
Structural Evolution of Galaxies in the Early Universe
Extragalactic Astrophysics
Linguistics
Tardigrades
PhD — Doctor of Philosophy, a Philosophy that many Doctorate holders lack. I'm open to working with anyone who will help me to advance my philosophical development. I intend to pursue a Master's/PhD degree in Observational Astronomy, with a focus on Optical, Infrared, or High-energy astronomy.
I'm also interested in (astro)photography, Stargazing, Cooking, learning about Geopolitics, practicing Classical Guitar as well as other musical instruments like Ukulele, Kazoo, Mouth Trumpet. These are also essential parts of who I am. Thank you for visting my profile. Feel free to contact me.
