Durbin is an Astronomy Outreach program jointly organized by the University of Toronto's Dunlap Institute for Astronomy and Astrophysics and the Computational and Observational Astronomy Lab (COALab) of Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB).
Under this program, Dunlap provided IUB with two Unistellar eQuinox-1 telescopes and 10,000 Canadian dollars. Dr. Lamiya Mowla, an Observational Astronomer and Assistant Professor at Wellesley College in MA, USA, arranged to send these advanced telescopes and donations to Bangladesh during Dunlap's postdoc. Dr. Khan Muhammad Bin Asad, an Astronomer and Assistant Professor of IUB and director of COALab, is overseeing the Durbin program in Bangladesh.

— Astronomy Nights & Nighthawks —
Nighthawks are undergraduate students of IUB trained in the basics of Astronomy and Astrophotography for organizing Stargazing & Astronomy Outreach throughout the year. Along with other IUB Chapter members, I am one of the few Nighthawks (scroll down inside the link for my banner). Only Nighthawks operate eQuinox telescopes and broadcast live, digitally processed images of Deep-sky Obeject from eQuinox telescope. We are also focused on constructing a proper pipeline and archive for Messier Objects. Details here.
" One of the students, named Fardin, raised by an entrepreneur father and a cafe owner mother, attended Monipur High School and College in Dhaka. Despite holding aspirations to earn his undergraduate degree abroad in the USA, he couldn't secure a scholarship. Opting for IUB due to its exceptional Physics program, he began with a 50% scholarship and is now enjoying a full 100% scholarship for his contributions to extracurricular activities. Focused on physics due to his profound love for math and its logical philosophy, he finds his chosen subject to be delightfully engaging. "

Unfortunately, due to several administrative and cultural concerns, three of us from physics majors had to return to Bangladesh after staying one month at VIT. But we enjoyed the trip. Since the administrations were involved, I cannot disclose any sensitive information here in public; kindly email me if anyone would want to chat about it privately.
